Lyssa kept a smile on and watched with vaguely bemused horror as he crunched down the paracetamol into a fine dust. Well, at least it wasn't deadly when dose dumped. He definitely wasn't going to have any long term relief from those though. She internally debated whether or not to tell him the proper way to take them, but she doubted he would even listen, mood-eyed as he was.

She did shake his hand though. It wouldn't do not to.

"You're very welcome. And it's nice to meet you, as well," she bit out.

Part of her was interested in this poor kid though. Surely, he wasn't that besotted for no reason. Had he never had a girl be nice to him before? If so, why? Was it for petty reasons like not being incredibly handsome or not having money or a pureblood family? Or was it because he was a holy terror to be around once you got past his initial awkwardness? While Lyssa imagined cringing her way to getting to know him, she couldn't help but be a bit fascinated by which way the wind would blow. Perhaps she was a bit callous.

"Sooo....do you want me to walk you to class? My first period is a free study period, so it's really no trouble!"

It was actually Potions. However, she found the class incredibly dull. The teachers here, she thought, taught to the middle, leaving advanced students bored and low students frustrated. So she wasn't particularly fussed if she cut class once. After all, she was building a new self-image. Maybe she could give herself a touch of her parents' rebellious streaks, after all.

Lyssa's hand was soft and smooth in his, causing Trinity's cheeks to heat to an impossible tempiture. This was an unusual reaction. Even in Trinity's flustered state, he was able to recognize that. He had seen girls who he thought were pretty, and girls he thought were nice, but none as smart as Lyssa was sure to be or as I ntresting as he knew she was. No one would ever be able to compare to her, and this was something Trinity knew only after ten minutes.

When she offered to walk him to class, Trinity too a quick step back. She couldn't walk in the halls with him. If she walked with him, whatever made people not see him might transfer to her. That couldn't happen. Someone like Lyssa had to be looked at and admired. She couldn't be invisible. The world would mourn if that happened.

He opened his mouth to tell her that he would be alright. He really wasn't in that much pain. At least, noting that wouldn't be better with in the hour. Nothing came out though. Swallowing hard, he tried again but he voice had gone somewhere deep inside him. So he just shook his head and took a few steps back. He didn't want to look away from her, but eventually, Trinity turned his back on Lyssa and made his way quickly out of the Hall.

It was like Lyssa blinked, and he was gone. And while she was somewhat glad of it, she also couldn't help but be a bit curious too. As she looked around, expecting curious eyes to be on her, she found there were none. Come to think of it, no one had seemed to notice her fall either? That was incredibly strange. Maybe there was something about this boy? Was he some sort of pariah? What had he done? Or was there just something about him that made him slide underneath the radar?

Huh.

That could be useful.

She shook herself out of her slide into dark thoughts. No. She wasn't like her family. She wasn't going to use people for her own ends. She was better than that.

She was.

But still. She couldn't help but wonder.

As she gathered up her things to go to class, she wondered.

How could she use this?
