Eric laughed a warm, deep sound, but his smile turned a bit wistful as he looked at his time piece. It was almost time to start the walk back. He studied Morrgian out of the corner of his eye. Her flushed seemed to have calmed down, so he figured she was well rested.
She talked about her cousins modeling, but he thought she would make a good one, as well. He had heard somewhere that the job of a model was to have a recognizable face. She had that, alright. Eric was sure he would be able to pick Morrgian out of a crowd.
Standing, the Gryffindor brushed off the seat of his trousers before extending his hand to Morrgian. "Ready?" Sure, they were probably going to miss some of class, but the teachers were usually pretty lax during the start of the year. They would be fine.

Morrigan smiled at the soft way he asked. He was really quite nice. Maybe he really could like her more than he could like Lyssa. Maybe it was her turn to have a boy who was nice to her.
Brushing a few strands of hair from her face, she straightened her dress and followed Eric up the bank.
"Ready!" she replied happily. She would probably be late to Divination, but at least she was good enough at it to make up for it. Besides, something about this moment seemed a lot more important.
"We should really do this again sometime," she grinned, being a bit more forward than usual. But she felt more emboldened. She felt more noticed.
She felt happier.
