The Tales of Beedle the Bard

Did anyone read this?

What did you think?

What was your opinion of the book being mass-produced and released to the public after the handwritten copies were auctioned off for charity at such a hefty amount?

Do you think that JKR should continue putting out these short, HP-related books with proceeds going to charity?

Discuss. :D

I bought the book but haven't read it and am not currently certain where it might be. >.>

I think it's great that JKR does these charitable books but I don't know that she has anything left to write. Unless she starts doing spell and/or potion books.
And personally, I think that anyone who spends nearly 4 million dollars on a book deserves to then have it mass-produced. At least the money went to charity. I doubt that was the buyer's motivation though, but perhaps I'm just too cynical.

What do you think? (About the topics discussed above, not about me being cynical. :P)

I liked the book. I think the whole "faerie tales of the wizarding world" was a good idea, and I think she should write potions and spell books. Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them gave me hope of this when they came out, but its been years and no others have appeared.

I wonder what JK Rowling has been up to... she just disappeared lately.
